Hello, 8th Grade Families… 

Greetings!
 
My name is Mr. Rivera, and I am the Vice Principal and 8^th Grade Homeroom Teacher. I also teach Reading, Math, and History to 7^th Grade as well.
A little bit about myself: This will be my third year teaching at OLL and am very excited to get this upcoming year started. I graduated with my bachelor’s in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University in 2015 and am currently working on getting my Master’s in Education. Before receiving my high school degree from Loyola High School, I attended Our Lady of Loretto from Kinder up until 8th Grade and graduated in 2007 which makes me a Loretto Warrior at heart. I love to watch movies, play sports, go on hikes, and spend time with my wonderful family. My goal as an educator is to provide any student of mine with the utmost respect and ensure that they are in an engaging and fun environment to grow in both their faith and education. I believe that a strong Catholic education should be accessible to everyone and that everyone should have the opportunity to thrive spiritually and academically.
